RANM was first organized in the year 1996 and subsequently took place in Würzburg, Germany in three year intervals. Now, Recent Advances in Neonatal Medicine is one of the most respected and largest scientific and educational conferences outside the United States of America. Certainly, its success does not only depend on the selection of actual and relevant topics but also on extremely dedicated international speakers, chairmen and moderators who share their tremendous expertise and knowledge with a perceptive and sophisticated audience, and moreover, on the essential support of sponsors. In the past, leading neonatologists and neonatal intensive care specialists from over 70 nations have participated in this unique event.
